Ms. Neill has provided a broad range of consulting services to a variety of institutional plan sponsors for over 30 years. These services include the successful development and implementation of investment programs, risk management consulting, strategic asset allocation policy setting, asset class structure recommendations, investment policy development, manager selection, and the ongoing education of Fund fiduciaries. Ms. Neill has consulted to a collection of plan sponsors that includes public institutions, corporate defined contribution and defined benefit plans, endowments and foundations, healthcare organizations, and insurance companies of varying size and complexity with assets ranging from $100 million to $200 billion. Ms. Neill has spoken at industry conferences on a wide range of investment topics, such as ESG investing, emerging manager programs, credit strategies, currency management, investment strategy implementation, performance-based fees, portable alpha, as well as other topical issues.
Ms. Neill joined Verus in 2017. She currently serves as a Board member and leads the West Coast Steering Committee for WAVE (Women’s Association of Venture and Equity), and is an investment committee member for the Chadwick School Endowment Fund. She was an inaugural Advisory Council member of WIIIN (Women in Institutional Investment Network). Ms. Neill is a mentor in the CFALA Career Mentorship Program as well as for WIIIN. Before entering the investment consulting industry, she was a corporate financial analyst at a Fortune 100 company. She is a shareholder of Verus and sits on the Verus alternative investments committee, where she provides strategic direction to research staff on important issues affecting client portfolio allocations to alternative investments. She earned a bachelor of science degree (BS) in business administration from the University of Arizona, and a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) with an emphasis in finance from Chapman University. She is a CFA charterholder (Chartered Financial Analyst) and is a member of the CFA Society of Los Angeles.
